(Late) Dr. Virendra Swarup

Dr. Virendra Swarup (25 July, 1923 – 26 February, 1980) was a distinguished visionary, a trailblazer in the realm of education, and a respected parliamentarian. As a torchbearer of the Swarup family legacy, Dr. Virendra Swarup made significant contributions to education in the populous state of Uttar Pradesh. His impact is unmistakable, evident from his instrumental role in establishing a network of educational institutions across all levels.

Dr. Virendra Swarup Educational Foundation, U.P. (VSEF)

Dr. Virendra Swarup Educational Foundation, U.P(VSEF) was established in the year 1989 in the memory of Late Dr. Virendra Swarup, MLC & Chairman of U.P. Legislative Council and an eminent educationist. The foundation is running 10+2 schools & several institutes in Kanpur & nearby areas . It is closely associated with Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan, which is managing more than 25 post graduate and intermediate colleges all over Uttar Pradesh & Uttranchal.

Our Vision

Our vision at Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Panki, is to develop well rounded and thoughtful students prepared to cope with a changing modern and globalised world. We aspire to educate our children in the richness of their past, the diversity of their present and possibilities of their future.

Our motto – ‘He that seeketh findeth’ reflects our vision to ignite curious minds – to prepare and motivate students for a rapidly changing world by instilling in them critical thinking skills and a global perspective.

It has been my honour and privilege to set up and serve this institution for the past 34 years. I take immense satisfaction in knowing that the dedication and perseverance poured into shaping this school have culminated in a shining edifice of education.

The school was set up with the aim of providing young learners an opportunity to bloom in a safe environment. Since 1990, We at Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre H2 Block Kidwai Nagar, have remained true to our founding spirit.

Since the inception of the institution in 2000, we at Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Panki, have made it our mission to help young impressionable minds acquire the ability to adapt and change for the better. In order to courageously face the uncertainties of life we offer an environment conducive to their growth. Our aim is to help students develop into responsible, happy and wise human beings who can use their knowledge and skills effectively. Instead of leading a self centred existence, we involve them in serving the less fortunate so that they develop into compassionate, discerning individuals who, while being competitive never lose sight of the fact that there is no true growth unless the world becomes a better place. We are determined to help precious young lives find a purpose to their existence and contribute to the wellbeing of society..
